A La Carte in the Park is back! Join us on Saturday 14th July 2012 and participate in one of the Gold Coast's favourite Food & Wine Events. Over the last 2 decades, A La Carte in the Park has become a very popular date on the Gold Coast calendar with the new home in Lionel Perry Park, Surfers Paradise meaning some new, fantastic opportunities!

Featuring the 'Chefs of Surfers Paradise' the key objective of A La Carte in the Park is to highlight and showcase the quality, scope and diversity of Gold Coast food. Through this event the public, both locals and visitors, are able to sample a range of different products at a small cost, leading to a greater understanding, knowledge and appreciation of the local industry and participating businesses.

Through this showcasing, the Gold Coast region's image and reputation as a food and wine destination is enhanced, leading to greater visitor numbers and assisting business in the region.

A La Carte in the Park is a great way to increase awareness of your business by providing sample size plates at low prices at this FREE community event. Participating businesses will receive a 3mx3m marquee, 2 trestle tables, access to electricity, on-site electrician, water, and business exposure through event marketing. All sales income stays with the boothholder, but ALL dishes must not exceed $10.00 per plate.

There are only a limited number of sites available. Stalls will be approved based on suitability to the event and to ensure a wide variety of food is on offer. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse any application. To participate please read and complete the below form and acknowledge your agreement to all terms and conditions. REQUIREMENTS

If YES, please provide exact dimensions of unit.

TERMS
  • Only freshly prepared food can be sold unless receiving prior approval by the event organiser.
  • Products cannot be priced over $10.
  • You must supply your own money float.
  • Your stall must be set-up on Friday 13th July 2012 between 6am & 6pm. All infrastructure (i.e. fridges, cooking equipment etc.) must be installed on this day. No responsibility is taken for items left overnight however security will be on-site.
  • Only food and drink can be delivered on Saturday 14 July 2012 between 6am & 8am. At 8am sharp all cars must vacate the site.
  • No parking is available on-site for stallholders. You will be allowed to drive onto the site to set-up however once complete, parking is available at Bruce Bishop Car Park (100m from event site). You will be given free parking for 1 vehicle in Bruce Bishop Car Park.
  • A-La-Carte in the Park is an outdoor event and no responsibility is taken by SPA for weather conditions.
  • You will be required to complete a Temporary Food Premises License application. This is free for all Gold Coast based businesses with a small fee payable for those who are based outside of the Gold Coast. This will be sent to you once your application is accepted.
  • You will be required to provide 2 complimentary meals to be used by event volunteers. These will be sent to you to sign once your application is accepted.
  • You must supply your own heavy duty power leads that have current test and tag stickers. Ensure they are approx. 50 metres long and strong enough to supply your needs.
  • Booth holders are responsible for the correct disposal of any waste generated (including waste water, oil, rubbish, etc). Your bond money may be forfeited if your site is not left in a satisfactory condition.
  • No alcoholic drinks are to be sold.
  • The distribution of advertising material throughout the park is not permitted.
  • First Aid will be available & located per the site map (to be supplied).
  • No signage can be attached to any marquee without the prior written consent of the Event Organiser. We will liaise with you directly to ensure all external signage is consistent.
  • Your site location will be allocated one week prior to the event. This may be subject to change at the discretion of the Event Organiser.
PAYMENT OPTIONS

All businesses have the opportunity to participate in this event for FREE.
A $100 refundable bond will be required however NO STALL FEE IS PAYABLE.
Applications including full payment close on Monday 30 May 2012.
