The Australian Street Entertainment Championships presented by The High Street, a people-power hit at last year’s Surfers Paradise Festival, returns to the precinct in 2012.

The event brings together some of the world’s best street artists – jugglers, acrobats, magicians, puppeteers and musicians – as they vie for the crowd’s attention.

Based around three stages on the Foreshore and a third stage at The High Street, the three-day event promises a taste of unsung talent, creative innovation and fearlessly energetic performance.

Knowing their audience might wander off at any moment, these artisans of the showbiz coalface put it all on the line to dazzle, intrigue and amaze.
