The Jungle Giants
One Way Street Party

Brisbane has a knack of producing some fine indie rock bands. New kids on the block, The Jungle Giants, prove this testament true once again.
Since their inception in early 2011 The Jungle Giants have leaped to the front of the pack of emerging artists in Australia. March 2011 saw the release of their debut self-titled EP, recorded with acclaimed local producer Yanto Browning. Lead single ‘Mr Polite’ perfectly heralded the arrival of their sound. The fun pop tune had all the elements to ensure people would be mindlessly humming it for days to follow.
Fast-forward to March 2012, and the band have racked up a list of achievements that is the envy of every young band. They signed to established Brisbane based Management Company, Stu McCullough’s Amplifire Music (Pete Murray, The Audreys, Last Dinosaurs and Track & Field). They signed with boutique indie booking agency Select Music (Boy & Bear, Emma Louise, Ball Park Music etc). To top if off they will announce shortly a very significant label signing.
Combine this with the 12,000 singles sales of Mr Polite, the 55,000 views of the song’s creative film clip, multiple upcoming shows across Australia with Boy & Bear, a sold out co-headline tour with San Cisco and their own sold out headline shows and you have a band poised for the big time.
